“yum update”コマンドで、現在インストールされているパッケージの中でアップデート可能なパッケージをすべて最新（yumのリポジトリで管理されているバージョンの最新）にアップデートする事ができます。

アップデート可能なパッケージを確認
下記のように、”yum check-update”、”yum list updates”で確認する事ができます。
# yum check-update ： audit.x86_64 2.2-2.el6 base audit-libs.x86_64 2.2-2.el6 base automake.noarch 1.11.1-4.el6 base

アップデート実行
“yum update”コマンドを実行すると、アップデート対象のパッケージ名が表示され、実際にアップデートを実施するかどうか聞かれ、実施する場合は”y”を押します。

yumコマンドの実行履歴の確認方法
アップデート後に問題が発生した場合にはアップデート内容を確認する必要があります。
yum historyコマンドで過去のyumコマンドによる実行内容を確認できます。

②各リストの詳細の作業内容を表示
“yum history list”の表示結果の日時や”Altered”欄の変更されたパッケージ数などから調査対象のIDを確認します。
“yum history info [ID]”で詳細の実行内容を表示できます。

yumコマンドの実行内容を元に戻したい場合
yumコマンドでインストール、アップデート、削除などを行った後に、不具合が発生した場合は、”yum history undo”コマンドで実行前の状態に戻す事ができます。詳細は下記記事参照。
